• Guild Recruitment Questionnaire

by Published on 11-26-2014 09:58 AM

Thank you for choosing to submit an application to the Order of the Silver Dragons (OSD) gaming community. Before you fill out a questionnaire please review our GUILD PHILOSOPHY and our CODE OF CONDUCT. It is recommended you come up with a unique name or handle to register with that will set you apart from others and also add to the immersion into the games we play. Please see Code of conduct for information on naming.

When filling out the application we ask that you take it seriously enough for our membership to get to know you as a gamer and as a person. We don't need ALL you're credit card numbers or your mother's maiden name, but we need to see that you want to be a part of our family of gaming fanatics. Humor is encouraged but please be sure to answer the questions or we shall be forced to ask you more and more questions... Which we'll probably do anyways.

Please copy this text, then paste it along with your answers in your introduction thread.

    Q.
Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform?

    A.

    Q.
This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?)

    A.

    Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you?

    A.

    Q. What events lead you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?

    A.

    Q.
What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include Times and Time zones.

    A.

    Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why?

    A.

    Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles?

    A.

    Q.
Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for?

    A.

    Q. What is your favorite part of a MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, Raiding, Community, Roleplaying, Crafting, Achievements, Exploration, etc)

    A.

    Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing?

    A.

    Q.
OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events?

    A.

    Q.
OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule?

    A.

    Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic?

    A.

    Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why?

    A.

    Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams?

    A.
