Time and DST settings

I am making this announcement because I just noticed that Time and DST settings may be acting funny again. At least mine are! Recently Ken made some remarks about this as well so I am wondering how many others may be having an issue (so Ken, the info I gave you before may be wrong and you may want to try again).

Everyone's time should be showing THEIR time when making posts and signing up for events. If they are not DST may be messing with you! If you go to 'Settings->General Settings' choosing a new DST setting should help you sort it out. Today I just had to turn my DST settings off in order to get mine to display correctly. Dont forget, if you need to check your time real quick it can be displayed by scrolling to the bottom of the forums.

Please post here if you notice a problem and had to choose another DST setting than what you had, so I can track how typical this is.

...oh, and new members, make sure your timezone is right as well! Otherwise DST means nothing

Remember: Having these settings correct will ensure that event times are translated properly amongst your guildies in other time zones. By using the 'Ranged Event' option while creating events you can specify a time range that will be shown to each member in their own time zone. This is always useful and helps alleviate confusion (when setup correctly of course).
